The RDC Nebbi, Ms Betty with other women leaders and pupils in a March parade around Nebbi Town during launch of CVL Women Activity & Resource Centre

Women Council members present a song during launch of The Women Activity & Resource Centre.

We do this in four critical ways (Strategy):
• Women Activity & Resource Centre (WARC): Creating an environment where women access information and knowledge to exercise their rights and feel self-confident and confident about the capability of fellow women.
• Cultural Approaches in Development: We offer and create educational and communication opportunities and programs appropriate to rural women’s/girls needs, priorities and experiences. We often use music, dance, drama, parades, puppets, gymnastics, poetry, and art to achieve communication opportunities.
• Advocacy and Awareness Events: We advocate for women’s concerns and strive to make existing programs more responsive to women’s needs and priorities. We involve women/girls to achieve this.
